These processes increase the effective advertising of mailers while reducing postage costs. A brief description of these software products follows:

AccuMail Gold by Datatech SmartSoft, Inc. – Address Correction and Data Integrity:
AccuMail Gold dramatically increases deliverability and reduces postage by comparing your addresses against the USPS database of address ranges in the United States and corrects inaccurate or outdated information. AccuMail Gold appends the Zip+4, Delivery Point Bar Code, and Carrier Route that speeds mail deliverability and qualifies mail for lower postage rates. Add-ons: LAN version and Developer’s Tool Kit.

SmartAddresser 2020 by Datatech SmartSoft, Inc. –Postal Discount Processing:
Lists can be quickly imported with the mapping function built into SmartAddresser2020. It automatically determines, stores and sorts the contents of up to 253 fields of data per record. Display options provide for record-by-record examination or spreadsheet format. The powerful search engine provides efficient duplicate detection and elimination. The mail processing function presorts Periodical and Standard class rates for post cards, letters and flats. The PAVE and CASS Certificates, the Postal Statement with costs and the Postal Sortation Reports are automatically produced. It includes and automatically links to AccuMail Gold.

Add-On Modules SmartAddresser 2020 by Datatech SmartSoft, Inc., as follows:
Navigator / Geocoding:By adding geocoding at the ZIP+4 Code level, including Latitude and Longitude coordinates along with all corresponding census tract codes and block numbers as well as county FIPS codes, marketing initiatives can be targeted by geography and demographics. Using radius searches, it identifies addresses near any business or home address.
DPV/Delivery Point Validation: While AccuMail Gold verifies that mail is addressed to USPS database address ranges, the DPV software confirms that a particular address, such as a house number, apartment number, or suite number, is on file by the USPS as a valid point for delivery mail.
RDI/Residential Delivery Indicator: The RDI module verifies that an address is residential or business location thus saving shipping surcharge fees. Note: Must be current with the DPV module. MUV/Move Update by SmartSoft Datatech: By clicking the Move Update option in Smart Addresser 2020, a list of names and addresses is automatically updated from the USPS’s FASTforward file of new addresses [who has moved where] supplied by addressees who have filed a permanent Change of Address (COA).

Duplicate Identification Software – Match IT by SmartSoft Datatech:
The Match IT duplicate identification software incorporates the sophisticated information technology “fuzzy” logic, such as like-character, phonetic and custom matching criteria. Match IT manages, processes and formats one or multiple files for job scripting and controlling suppression routines.

ProSort by Datatech SmartSoft, Inc. –Postal Processing:
ProSort constructs and prints the bar code on envelopes and labels to maximize postal discounts. Pro-Sort handles First, Periodical and Standard-Class mail and generates postal forms to quality for discounts.

ArcList by Datatech SmartSoft, Inc. – Datatech Management and Postal Processing:
The ArcList database management program is designed to maintain mailing lists. It converts lists, performs merge/purge, verifies State and Zip codes, formats, processes and sorts lists for USPS postal discounts. This DOS-based software has many loyal users who continue to appreciate and use the de-duping logic that identifies exact and difficult near-duplicates for up to six lists on one match pass.
